Founded in 2000, the Bangladesh Blind Cricket Council (BBCC) is the official governing body for blind and visually impaired cricket in Bangladesh. We are affiliated with the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC).
Our mission is to provide equal sporting opportunities for visually impaired individuals, promote blind cricket at all levels, and represent Bangladesh with honour on the international stage.

Bangladesh finished as Runners-up in the tournament held in Pakistan (November–December 2024), losing to the hosts in a hard-fought final.

Bangladesh competed in the men’s cricket event at the World Games in Birmingham, England, alongside major teams like India and Australia.

The team also secured the Runners-up position in the previous edition held in India.

The BBCC successfully hosted an international Tri-Nation series in Dhaka involving India and Pakistan to commemorate the 50th Independence Anniversary of Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh National Blind Cricket Team achieved a historic 5-0 clean sweep against New Zealand, marking the council's first-ever international series victory outside of the Asian region.

Over 100 visually impaired cricketers have been identified and trained through BBCC's grassroots development programs.
